Being a parent can be extremely rewarding and enjoyable. However, it is not always easy and children do not come with instruction manuals. Companies and organisations can help parents cope better at home and be more productive employees at work by providing support through the Positive Parenting Programme®.
The Positive Parenting Programme®, or Triple P, is a well established programme developed in Australia, backed by over 25 years of research. Triple P aims to take the stress out of parenting by offering practical answers to everyday parenting concerns. It has been found to be useful by many parents worldwide and Changi General Hospital’s clinical psychologists are trained and accredited to run Positive Parenting Programme® talks and workshops.
Who is Triple P for?
- Parents of children aged eleven years or younger
- Parents who want to create a positive learning environment
- Parents who want to learn effective discipline techniques
- Parents who don’t have a specific problem but just want some easy to understand information and tips on parenting in general
- Parents who want to learn how to manage common child behaviour problems like
- Tantrums
- Disobedience

- Bedtime/Mealtime problems
Triple P Talks
The Triple P talks are meant for parents interested in general parenting tips.
1) The Power of Positive Parenting (1.5 hrs)

Rate: $200 (excl prevailing gst) per hour for talks conducted onsite during office hours.
Triple P Group Programme
The Triple P Group Programme consists of 2 onsite half-day workshops (4 hrs each) followed by a 1½ hour follow-up session two weeks later. These workshops provide parents an opportunity to share their experiences and learn Positive Parenting strategies. A group consists of the maximum of 12 parents.
It employs an active skills training process to help parents acquire new knowledge and skills. Between sessions, parents complete homework tasks to consolidate their learning from the group sessions and refine their implementation of the programme. These workshops are not suitable for parents of children with serious behavioural problems.

Rate: $2,500 (excl prevailing gst) for the Triple P Group Programme (9.5 hrs).
